Final Fantasy XIV is fairly well suited for playing on controller and I would highly recommend trying it out. While SE does provide a “PS4 Basic controls” guide, and it does have a good amount of in-game controller help, some things are not mentioned or aren’t clear. So this is my attempt at a super-comprehensive guide. Command "/petsize all small" will make SMN summons smaller (a lot smaller) Because those summons are BIG and this can make life harder in multiple-players encounters.
